The future looks promising. While our ultimate goal is to preserve and
display our heritage by developing a permanent facility to house the
artifacts donated and collected, we have lots of other exciting ideas
and future plans. Some of these include:
- Restoring the
old Shoal Harbour grave site particularly that of Scholar John, the
first settler in the Clarenville - Shoal Harbour area.
- Making additions
to the railway museum currently located on Marine Drive.
- Adding plaques
to recognize historical points of interest in the town.
