Our Society provides a great opportunity for summer employment with a relaxed and friendly work atmosphere.
It is also an opportunity to meet various people from all over the province, country and the world.
Successful candidates must be willing to engage in conversation and have a friendly and outgoing personality. Summer student must have their own transportation to and from work.
Duties involve explaining the items in our displays and some clerical work on the collections management database.
Computer skills are a requirement. Other duties involve scanning photographs and documenting accession items in the collection.
A basic knowledge of Clarenville and Shoal Harbour history would be an asset. Certificate of good conduct is also required.
Only returning Post-Secondary Students (University or
College) or accepted into Post-Secondary Institution in September are
eligible to apply.
30 Hrs per week x 6 weeks at $12.50/hr.
